Inauguration Program Information:

Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation and The Happy Acres Foundation office is very pleased to announce that City of Quincy will host their 2018 Inaugural Ceremony to honor of new and current elected officials will take an oath of office to serve as role of: City Councilor and School Committee.

 

The Inaugural Ceremony will be scheduled on Monday, January 8, 2018 begins at 10:00 a.m. in The Great Hall of Council Chambers at City Hall: 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA to opens for the residents, persons with disabilities, citizens of Quincy, elected officials, City of Quincy employees, first responders and the public are welcome to come and attend the event throughout the morning.

 

There will be seating available for the residents, persons with disabilities, citizens of Quincy, City of Quincy employees, first responders and the public are welcome throughout the day.

 

City Clerk Nicole L. Crispo will be part of Master of Ceremonies throughout the evening to introduce new and current elected officials and the families, state elected officials and the guests.

 

New and Current elected officials: City Councilor President, City Councilor, Vice Chair of School Committee and School Committee will take an oath of office to be administered by City Clerk Nicole L. Crispo throughout the inaugural ceremony in the morning which it would be part of the City of Quincy's charter statue.

 

Mayor Thomas P. Koch will deliver his inaugural speech remarks to the clergy, people of Quincy, state elected officials, new and current elected officials: City Councilor and School Committee and the guests.

 

City Clerk Nicole L. Crispo will ask the Members of the City Councilor to vote for a new elect City Councilor President with a full unanimously consent to approve throughout the ceremony.

 

City Councilor President TBA will deliver his/her inaugural speech remarks to the clergy, people of Quincy, state elected officials, new and current elected officials: Mayor, City Councilor and School Committee and the guests.

 

Mayor and Chairman of School Committee Thomas P. Koch will ask the Members of the School Committee to vote for a new Vice Chairman or Chairwoman of School Committee with a full unanimously consent to approve throughout the ceremony.

 

Vice Chairman of School Committee Emily G. Lebo will deliver her inaugural speech remarks to the clergy, people of Quincy, state elected officials, new and current elected officials: Mayor, City Councilor and School Committee and the guests.

The Quincy Access Television (QATV) will broadcast live coverage of Inaugural Ceremony on QATV Channel 8 and QATV Channel 9 throughout the morning and the replay later in the evening just in the case that you missed on the program schedule.
