Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that Quincy Police Department and Quincy Recreation Department will be hosting their recreation night out program at Merrymount Park and Kincaide Park throughout this summer season kickoff when the school gets out right here in the City of Quincy.

 

The Quincy Police Department and Quincy Recreation Department teamwork program will run on weeknights from Monday through Friday on Monday, June 26, 2017 through Thursday, August 31, 2017 begins at 5:30 -- 8:30 p.m. at Merrymount Park (Fenno Street) or Kincaide Park (Water Street) to open for the youth and teens from Middle School and High School level are welcome to come and hang out with the rec leaders from Quincy Recreation Department and police officers from Quincy Police Department throughout the evening with a full supervision here in the City of Quincy.

 

If you're already enrolled for your child to participate with any summer program such as: Quincy Recreation Department, Quincy Public Schools, South Shore YMCA or private school districts, your child are most certainly welcome to come and hang out with the rec leaders from Quincy Recreation Department and police officers from Quincy Police Department either at Merrymount Park or Kincaide Park throughout this summer season before the school starts in the next fall right after the Labor Day weekend.

 

The Quincy Neighborhood Basketball League host their basketball game on Monday nights at Merrymount Park during this summer season which it will run from June through August here in the City of Quincy. 

 

The public are welcome to come and watch the Quincy Neighborhood Basketball League games to cheer their favorite players and teams throughout the evening at Merrymount Park for a fun night out to play basketball here in the City of Quincy.

 

The recreation night program will extend extra hours with a subject to change of schedule for the Quincy Neighborhood Basketball League events on Monday nights at 5:30 -- 10:00 p.m. and the rain date is on Wednesday nights for the regular season and on Monday and Tuesday nights at 5:30 -- 10:00 p.m. or 5:30 -- 8:30 p.m. and the rain date is on Wednesday nights for the tournament playoff at Merrymount Park throughout the evening hours here in the City of Quincy. 

 

There will be no recreation night program at Merrymount Park and Kincaide Park on Monday, July 3, 2017 and Tuesday, July 4, 2017 due to the holiday of the 4th of July celebration here in the City of Quincy.

 

Persons with disabilities at all ages are currently residence in the City of Quincy and still welcome to participate for the recreation night program at Merrymount Park or Kincaide Park throughout this summer season to play basketball, frisbee, wiffle ball, kickball and other activities and hang out with the rec leaders from Quincy Recreation Department and police officers from Quincy Police Department.

 

Please note that Quincy Police Department will increase patrol to do random check-in at Merrymount Park and Kincaide Park to make sure that everything went smoothly around in the neighborhood for the public safety reasons during the recreation night program here in the City of Quincy.

 

The weather permitting is whether rain or shine at Merrymount Park or Kincaide Park throughout the recreation night program here in the City of Quincy as long as the schedule is still remain stay same on the Google Calendar down the below in this website.
